This season of Pro Kabaddi League is consists of 12 teams and each team is owned by a franchise.This season is the fifth edition of Pro Kabaddi League.This season started on 28th July 2017 and will end on 28th October 2017. There are four new teams in the list, those are Gujrat Fortunegiants, Thalaivas, U.P. Yodha and Haryana Steelers. This season is played in a double round-robin format and then there will be playoffs. This season has a total of 138 matches from which 132 group matches are between all teams, 5 playoffs to decide the two finalists and one final match.

Indian raider Nitin Tomar is the most expensive player in this season. U.P. Yodha bought him by 93 lakhs in the auction. South Korea’s Jang Kun Lee is the most expensive foreign player, whom Bengal Warriors retained at a price of 80.3 lakhs. The God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar co-owns Tamil Thalaivas. Till now i.e. 23rd September a total of 89 matches has already been played and Gujrat and Patna are at the top of their zones followed by Haryana and Bengal in their respective Zones.

When will the rest of the matches be played?

The rest of the zone level matches will be played from 23rd  September to 20th October and the playoffs will be played from 22nd October to 26th October.And the final is on 28th October.

The rest of the matches gonna played in 11 different Stadiums in 11 different states. But the Final match is gonna play in Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai.
