Pakistan vs World XI: 3rd T20 Result

The thrilling T20 series comes to an end with Pakistan team lifting the trophy by thrashing World-XI in the last match held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Winning the toss World-XI team chose to bowl first. But the decision seems to be wrong with them as the opening duo of Pakistan F Zaman(27) and A Shehzad(89) started with a big boom. The partnership between this two comes to an end when F Zaman, unfortunately, got run out in an unusual way. But still, after this, another huge partnership of 102 runs in just 53 balls for the 2nd wicket gives Pakistan a strong run in the score-card, finally setting up a target of 184 for World-XI.

In reply, World-XI started with a big bang as Opener Tamim Iqbal(14) got 13 runs from the 1st over with 3 boundaries. But this firepower last for a short moment of time as in the last ball of next over Tamim bowled out by Usman Khan, and in the 3rd over of Hasan Ali both Amla(21) and Cutting(5) shown the way to pavilion.

Still, this horrible action didn’t stop as  Bailey(3) trying to hit a flatter ball of Imad Wasim and get a bottom-edge which directly hit the stumps. When the World-XI looks to be out of the track, for a while its look like the World-XI is back on winning track as Thisara Perera(32) hits 23 runs in the 12th over by Shadab Khan. But all this goes in vain because no batsman able to stay for a longer period and no such good partnership are made. Finally as a result which Pakistan won the match by 33 runs, and wins the series by 2-1.

So finally its look like cricket is back for Pakistan fans on their home ground. All crowd giving their response how happy they are with standing ovation, and Pakistan players dancing with joy as its a grand feat of success for them.
