In 2016 and 2017, It was Bhubaneswar Kumar for Sunrisers Hyderabad who clinched the Purple Cap. In 2015 and 2014, It was Dwyane Bravo and Mohit Sharma for CSK who got the Purple Cap as IPL top Wicket Taker. As Bhubaneswar didn’t play many matches and didn’t take many wickets this season, the question arises who would be the IPL 2018 highest Wicket Taker or who is the Purple Cap winner in IPL 2018?

Chennai Super Kings :
For CSK it was Deepak Chahar, Shradhul Thakur and Dwayne Bravo who took most wickets for CSK and in the line to clinch Purple Cap 2018 and later it is Lungi Nigdi and Ravindra Jadeja who took wickets back to back and also in the list of IPL top Wicket Taker 2018.
For last 2 years it was Bhubaneshwar Kumar who took most wickets for SRH and clinched the Purple Cap back to back, but this time he didn’t play many matches. So, this time Siddarth Kaul who took the responsibility of taking wickets and named himself in the IPL highest Wicket Taker 2018 for SRH. Other than him it was Rashid Khan, Shakib Al Hasan who took most wickets for the team.
From Rajasthan, it was Spinner Shreyas Gopal, Krishnappa Gowtham who took most wickets for the team. Later it was Jaydev Unadkat who picked for highest rupees in this season in auction took also 11 wickets for the team. Later it was Jofra Archer who took 15 wickets just in 7 matches and qualified his team for playoffs and made him be in the list of IPL highest Wicket Taker 2018.
Kings XI Punjab:
For KXIP it is good as they selected Ashwin as Captain who is also a good bowler in T20 format and took 10 wickets for the team also. Other than him it is new spinning sensation Mujeeb Ur Rehman and Ankit Rajpoot who took most wickets for the team. But it was Andrew Tye with whom KXIP showed much faith and bought in the auction with a big price took 24 wickets with 4wickets in a 3 matches back to back and in the top of Ipl top wicket-taker in IPL 2018.
The big pick for Mumbai this season is Hardik Pandya as he scored 18 wickets and in the list of top wickets takers in this IPL. Maybe he was not the highest picked player for the team but he took highest wickets for the team along with new spinning sensation Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah, Mitchell McClenaghan and were in the list of highest Wicket Taker in IPL 2018.
Kolkata Knight Riders:
For KKR it was again mystery spinner Sunil Narine who took most wickets with Kuldeep Yadav, Piyush Chawla, Andre Russell etc. as always all these were present in the list of Purple Cap holder in IPL 2018.
For Delhi, there were no most wicket takers so the team came last in the point table after scoring good runs but not able to defend it. Only Trent Boult and Amit Mishra for the team who took most wickets and be in the list of IPL highest Wicket Taker 2018
Royal Challengers Bangalore:
Umesh Yadav did good bowling and took 20 wickets along with bowlers like Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj who took most wickets for the team and in the list of IPL top Wicket Taker 2018.
