In the ongoing ODI match between India and Australia, Kuldeep Yadav achieved a tremendous feat. He now becomes the 1st ever Indian spinner to get a hat-trick in his name on International ODI match. Overall he is the 3rd Indian bowler to do so, as before him Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev have achieved the feat.

So have a look at these 3 hat-tricks that are taken by the Indian bowlers,

Chetan Sharma’s Hat-trick in 1987:

During the World cup match, on October 31, 1987, playing a match against New Zealand Indian pacer Chetan Sharma becomes the 1st Indian bowler to have a hat-trick on his name. The victims of his deadly bowling were Ken Rutherford, Ian Smith, and Ewen Chatfield. Due to his hat-trick, India own that match.

Kuldeep Yadav’s Hat-trick in 2017:

In between the session of Australia tour of India for 5 ODI, 3 Test, and 3 T20 matches, in the 2nd ODI match played at Kolkata, the Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav have achieved the 3rd place to take the hat-trick in the international ODI match. He is the only spinner to do so. The victims of his deadly spin are Matthew Wade, Ashton Agar, and Pat Cummins. As Australia is chasing a decent target this hat-trick of Kuldeep helped a lot as India win the match by 50 runs and also leading the ODI series by 2-0.

So it’s a great achievement for Kuldeep to be listed in the hat-trick list with some of the great names above him and also the 1st Indian spinner to do so as no other great spinners like Kumble and Harbhajan achieved this feat.
