He is the only  20th player to play 300 or more One Day Internationals (ODIs), armed with a  career average of 51.94 and a strike rate of 88.47.This former Indian skipper has possessed to make and break records in the world cricket. Only Indian captain to play 199 matches:

Here’s how MS Dhoni is the only captain to play most one day international matches for India. This star player of Indian cricket has played 300 ODI matches, out of which 199 as captain. He had a record win of 110 matches out of 199 as captain, which is also a huge number. He has an average of 59.57 win percentage. The next in the list is the greatest captain ever produced by India, M Azharuddin who played 174 ODI matches as captain.

Only Indian to hit 200 sixes in ODIs:

When Indian cricket board introduced MS Dhoni on the international stage, he had a reputation of a big hitter of the ball. MSD had smashed 200 sixes in his 13 year ODI career and still going strong. He is the only Indian to reach the 200 benchmark. Only Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle and Sanath Jayasuriya are above MS Dhoni’s tally of sixes in ODIs.
